Obert Skye -"Imagination runs wild in Fablehaven. It is a lucky book that can hold this kind of story."
The New York Times - "Mull's story offers unexpected twists and entertainingly scary creatures."
Columbia Daily Tribune - "This story is so compelling and so well written you’ll find its magic working on you as well, completely taking over your ability to put the book down, even for a moment. Mull has an extraordinary writing ability." Hollywood Reporter - "The series is generating buzz as a contender in the fantasy-adventure genre to replace the Harry Potter franchise."
Why I chose the Items I chose:
Quote One: I chose this quote because I Found it quite funny. But also because I think it shows what kind of characters the satyrs are. It shows that they are devious little guys that live to be what I like to say "Little Pranksters".
Quote Two: I think that this quote shows Seth and Kendra why their parents shouldn't see magical creatures. It shows that if their parents find out that it could endanger them all.
Quote Three:I choose this one because of its intentions to become quite silly. But yet it also shows how diverse the magical creatures are that each preserve owns. Even though later on in the book the zombies eat the caretakers.
Video One: I choose this video because it represents that part of the book almost flawlessly. Although it may be corny all the lines were taken straight from the book. It portrays the book quite well.
Video Two: I chose this video because I think the best way to learn about the book is to hear it straight from the author himself. I found it quite interesting to listen to him speak about how he created such a great novel.
